• Welcome!

As you look around we hope you will get to know us and perhaps join us for worship.

Here at Oak Hills, we are interested in you. We want to include you in fulfilling our mission which is to “Glorify God by Making Disciples of all People.” Since we all have room to grow, we provide opportunities to grow in your relationship with God whether you have been a follower of Jesus for a short or a long time.

If there is anything we can do to help you grow in your relationship with God, please give us a call at 940-464-3270 or e-mail us at info@oakhillsfreechurch.com. We are here to help.

    Warmly,

    Pastor Mark (& Debbie) Piland

    THANKSGIVING DINNER

A good time was had by all at the Thanksgiving Dinner served after services on Sunday, November 16.  We had a very good gathering and the food and service were excellent.  Thanks to Ralph and Babette Smith for putting together this year’s celebration.

    SUNDAYSCHOOL/WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY

Don’t forget that Sunday School at 9:30 AM every Sunday is for everyone.  It is a great time to learn more about God’s word and direction to us.  Also, on Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm is our weekly Bible Study.  This is a time to study and reflect on our Lord’s teachings.  We hope to see all of you at these two important functions.

    CHOIR PRACTICE

The Oak Hills choir will meet on November 23rd in the youth room directly after the morning worship service.  We have some wonderful Christmas music to share with you, so everyone who loves to sing, please join us.  There are not many Sundays before Christmas.  See you there!

    CHRISTMAS IS ON THE WAY

The word on the street is that Christmas is right around the corner and that means it is time to Deck the Halls!  With Thanksgiving coming so late this year we need to get busy to get the church decorated.  So to this end, on Sunday, November 30th, we will have lunch at Oak Hills and then hit the attic for the decorations.  The guys probably grumble a little as they hang the garland on the side, but we all know their hearts are filled with joy.  For you new folks, this means we have a ball and everyone has a great time.  So plan to stay after the worship service – Eat, and deck them halls, ya’ll!
